I'm convinced many people are put off being more active because they think it's going to be a lot harder than it needs to be. So instead of doing something, they do nothing. The key for me is finding out what works best for you - and that's different for everyone. And there's no real point going on a crash diet for a few weeks, just for the weight to creep back on (and often a bit extra) when the diet ends. Likewise, most people will give up after two months or so of exercise bikes or running machines etc in the gym, so these are not usually a long term solution either.
Most clients start with my £139 initial course. That's FIVE HOURS of one-to-one tuition in the privacy of my studio covering everything you need to know, whatever your experience level.
We'll talk about objectives, activity and exercise that suits you, key health recommendations and how best to meet them, nutrition, creating a calorie deficit to lose weight in a sustainable way (if that's an objective), plus much more. And of course we'll gradually start the process of being more active. I guarantee you will find it really interesting and worthwhile.
What shape are you in compared to when you were 21? Why be a stone or two heavier and/or much less fit when you just don't need to be? And particularly when it increases your risk of ill health?
After the sessions, I'll happily help you as much or as little as you want. There's no real reason though why you can't keep it going by yourself, it just depends how motivated you are. Some clients like to do another few weeks and then do their own thing, others find continuing with a regular session every week, or every two weeks, makes all the difference to keeping them on track. The choice is yours.
